Kubor Kassim – Siglap, Singapore

Spread the love

Kubor Kassim is located in Siglap, Singapore. This cemetery has the largest collection of keramats (shrines of holy Muslim people) in all of Singapore. People of different religions come here to worship at these graves. It is believed that these holy Muslim persons have the ability to grant boons and offer protection to those who worship them. Within the compound also exists a mosque, which is still operational. People who have been left alone inside the compound of the cemetery at night have reported hearing knocking coming from the burial preparation area, as if a deceased was knocking on his coffin lid. Reportedly, people from a parallel dimension (orang Bunian) are also buried here. They chose to be buried here because they wanted to be close to their religious teacher, who happened to be human and buried here as well.
